Anne Hathaway Confirms 'Princess Diaries 3' Is Actually Happening

Anne Hathaway has come officially shared plans for the upcoming Princess Diaries 3 movie. Both Hathaway and Julie Andrews have agreed that they’ll be starring as the dream duo Mia Thermopolis and Queen Clarisse Renaldi again.
Back in 2017 franchise creator and author Meg Cabot shared with EW that “she heard there was a script for another sequel.” Yesterday, Hathaway appeared as a guest on Bravo‘s Watch What Happens Live, in which she confirmed the recurring role and spoke about the movie.
She later explained in a statement the details surrounding the film:
“There is a script. I want to do it, Julie wants to do it, Debra Martin Chase our producer wants to do it. We all really want it to happen. It’s just, we don’t want to do it unless it’s perfect, because we love it just as much as you guys love it.”
