A Closer Look at AMBUSH x RIMOWA's Silver Suitcases

UPDATE (January 25, 2019): AMBUSH has released an official photo of its upcoming RIMOWA Suitcase. The limited-edition travel companion is made from a silver varnished leather that is further accented with metallic end pieces. The handle is a bright orange hue with AMBUSH’s text logo etched out in black. A February 1 release is confirmed for the Ginza location of RIMOWA in Tokyo, Japan.

AMBUSH co-founder Yoon Ahn took to Instagram to tease an upcoming suitcase collaboration with RIMOWA. The photo show two mid-sized suitcases covered in a dust bag which only reveals their silver color. A bright orange tag is attached to a bag handle of the same color with text logos on each piece. Yoon shares that she travelled with the new set from Paris to Tokyo following the Paris Fashion Week festivities. She goes on to note in the caption that shoppers can expect the bags to drop on February 1 at RIMOWA’s Ginza location in Tokyo, Japan. Retail prices and another other stock information has not been released yet so be sure to stay tuned for more information.
