In an official statement, Y-3 shared the premise behind the latest pieces and the accompanying images:
“The Spring/Summer 2019 campaign captures some of the season’s most directional pieces. The imagery is rendered in a casual, offhand aesthetic that contrasts with the fluidity of the clothing. The sun-bleached primary colors of rusted equipment bring focus to the campaign’s black-and-white apparel and footwear. Presented editorial-style, each photograph distills the essence of the season on its own.”
The Y-3 SS19 collection will be available at Y-3 flagship stores and the brand’s official web store on January 7.
