Yoon Teases a New Military-Inspired AMBUSH x Converse Sneaker

UPDATE: Yoon has taken to her Instagram Stories to share another AMBUSH x Converse design. The additional model features a black version of the all-white iteration. Notably, we spot bright yellow AMBUSH accents on the back of the trainers paired with the number nine.

Back in December Yoon Ahn ended the year by sharing that new AMBUSH x Nike drops were on the horizon. The Dior Men‘s jewelry designer has now previewed her latest-footwear design via Instagram. The new collaboration is a revamped all-white Converse Chuck Taylor High Top model.
Yoon describes the sneaker as a unisex trainer that is inspired by “vintage military winter boots, Converse used to produce for US military.” Detailing includes an ultra-high sole unit, all-white accents and a tonal lacing system. The model also arrives with exaggerated branding, which appears on the back and reads: “AMBUSH” in black font. The silhouette is a bit higher up than the classic Converse Chuck Taylor, the lacing goes up high as well.
