Ariana Grande's Been Teasing Her New Song, "7 Rings," All Over Instagram

The follow-up to “imagine.”

Ariana Grande‘s been making headlines as the youngest headline artist in Coachella history recently, but that doesn’t mean she’s taking it easy. In fact, in the past few days she’s been releasing teasers of her new track, “7 Rings,” which is the follow-up single to “imagine.”

The star shared cover art for the single on her Instagram feed, as well as images that appear to be from the set of the music video for the song. Of course, in true Ariana style it seems like pink is a common color theme; one picture shows her alongside friends Alexa Luria and Victoria Monét in all pink outfits. Although there’s speculation this song may be about her previous engagement to Pete Davidson, Grande responded to a fan on Twitter to confirm it’s actually about an occasion where she and some friends were in-store at Tiffany’s & Co. and she bought seven rings for her friendship group. She later updated this with the news she had bought nine rings in total – one for her mom and Nonna too.

Check out the Instagram teasers below; “7 Rings” is set to release on January 18 so stay tuned for updates. While you’re here, why not check out the top music collaborations we hope will happen in 2019.
