This year’s British Fashion Awards is set to take place at London‘s Royal Albert Hall once more and Vogue has just announced the 2019 nominees. The award for brand of the year includes prominent labels like Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Jacquemus, Loewe and Prada. As for model of the year, last year’s winner Kaia Gerber is going up against Adut Akech, Adesuwa Aighewi, Adwoa Aboah, and Winnie Harlow.

Among the notable brands that have been making its mark in the industry for many years now, the list of finalists features some noteworthy new names. From Kiko Kostadinov womenswear designers Laura and Deanna Fanning, to Aries designer Sofia Prantera, the emerging designers list highlights creative talents that are worth keeping an eye out for next year. The British Fashion Council‘s chair, Stephanie Phair said in a release:

“I would like to congratulate all the nominees of the Fashion Awards 2019. Each and every one of them is being recognized for their creative excellence and innovation. I look forward to celebrating them alongside the rest of the industry from across the globe on the [second] of December at the Royal Albert Hall.”

The nominees will be joined on stage on December 2 by this year’s honorees: supermodel Naomi Campbell and outstanding achievement award winner Giorgio Armani.
