Pangaia's Pink Sakura Blossom T-Shirt Has Been Dyed with Real Sakura Petals
Find out where you can cop this unisex piece here.
Sustainable and minimalist brand Pangaia has just dropped a pink Sakura Blossom T-Shirt colored with a natural dye extracted from real sakura petals that have been rejected by tea manufacturers in Nagoya, Japan. Every year, Japan’s cherry blossom trees produce lots of flowers that naturally fall from its branches over time. The flowers are then gathered and picked, ready to be used to make the country’s seasonal sakura tea. Unwanted petals by manufacturers are then collected by Pangaia and are taken to a local lab where the pink dye is made.
The unisex Pangaia Sakura Dye T-shirt arrives in a relaxed fit and has been incorporated with GOTS certified organic cotton. The top retails for $85 USD which you can now purchase on Pangaia’s website.
