adidas Teams Up With 032c on Utilitarian Sneaker and Bag Collection
A follow-up to the duo’s tactical boot.
German brands adidas and 032c have joined forces on a utilitarian sneaker and bag collection inspired by futuristic realism.
Comprised of a duffel bag, backpack and multi-strap crossbody, accessories are offered in an all-black colorway printed with the 032c logo in white block lettering. Ample D-rings and buckle clasps add functionality. The collection also includes one pair of sneakers, dubbed the “Salvation.” An update on an archival adidas runner from the ’90s, the all-white shoe features a molded, sculptural midsole and suede detailing on the lateral. A nylon eyelet cover and drawstring laces add to the Salvation’s post-digital aesthetic.
032 Apparel Creative Director Maria Koch explained the collaboration in a statement:
“We have always been inspired by adidas. We grew up on and in adidas, in fact, so on a personal level that legacy is embedded in our approach to sportswear, to youth culture, and to how sportswear can act as a counter-cultural catalyst.”
032c x adidas ranges from approximately $90 to $200 USD and is available on 032c’s webstore. Check out the campaign imagery, shot by Timothy Schaumburg, in the gallery above.
