Take a Look at Khaite's Pre-Fall 2020 '60s Rock and Roll-Inspired Collection
Cate Holstein reimagines her signature tulle dresses and Victorian blouses.
Having started her label three years ago, Cate Holstein‘s Khaite has grown from focusing on sweaters and jeans, to tulle dresses as well as the signature Envelope Pleat Clutch that the label is now known for. For Pre-Fall 2020, the range consists of a collection of silk blouses, sleek outerwear and elegant dresses – all arriving in the finest fabric.
Inspired by her childhood and London‘s rock and roll glamor in the ’60s, Holstein tweaks some of her brand’s signature styles including Victorian blouses, Western skirts and knife-pleated skirts. The collection also includes an ivory shirt dress with flared cuffs, ruffled tuxedo blouses and flashy, gold-tone brocade tailoring. Sophisticated and modern pieces have been added into the mix such as high-waisted pants, blazers and an ivory pantsuit. Take a look at the collection’s lookbook in the gallery above.
Stay tuned while we wait for the entire collection to officially release online. In the meantime, be sure to check out Khaite’s first non-apparel collection for Fall/Winter 2019 exclusive on Net-a-Porter.
