Fendi Releases Scented Baguette Bag with Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian
High fashion scratch ‘n’ sniff.
Fendi has updated its iconic Baguette handbag, this time in scented leather. The house teamed up with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who patented a technique for scenting leather in 2014, on the limited-edition style. Coming in both mini and standard sizes, the “FENDIFRENESIA” is constructed of sunshine-yellow Selleria leather and perfumed with Kurkdjian’s musky, gender fluid fragrance. Each bag comes with a small bottle of the scent, which can be vaporized on a card hidden inside the purse or worn on the skin.
Pricing for the “FENDIFRENESIA” Baguette and Nano Baguette starts at approximately $498 USD. The bag is available online in the U.S. and Europe as well as at Fendi’s Miami boutique through December 20.
