The Maison Margiela Tabi Arrives as a Motorcycle Boot For SS20

Studded with hardcore metal spikes.

For Spring/Summer 2020, Maison Margiela has given its iconic Tabi boot a spiky studded makeover. The new style, reminiscent of a classic motorcycle boot, is constructed of a distressed black leather upper and an etched wood heel recalling a tree trunk carved with words. A strap studded with silver spikes hangs at the ankle, and is attached by a silver O-ring to a stirrup-like chain that crosses underneath the arch of the foot. Tabi’s signature hook closure fastens at the side.
