Takashi Murakami x PORTER's New Collection Features Detachable Flowers

Dropping in time for the holidays.

Artist Takashi Murakami and Japanese accessories brand PORTER have teamed up on a three-piece collection of bags featuring Murakami’s iconic KaiKai KiKi sunflower character.

The 2WAY HELMET BAG, WAIST BAG, and RUCK SACK are rendered in black nylon and feature detachable versions of the KaiKai KiKi flower, branded with a PORTER label, in varying sizes. All bags are lined with bright orange KaiKai KiKi-printed fabric, while tonal stitching keeps the exterior of each style monochromatic.

The Takashi Murakami x PORTER collection ranges from approximately $730 USD to $1,100 USD and will be available to purchase on yoshidakaban.com starting December 6.

In related news, Murakami’s solo exhibition “Superflat Doraemon” is open now at Perrotin Tokyo.
