American Apparel Debuts Its First Activewear Collection, FORWARD

An affordable range of minimal gym threads.

American Apparel has launched its first activewear collection, FORWARD. The Spring/Summer 2019 range includes affordable performance wear that is also lightweight and comfortable. This season’s theme is “How We Play” which is reflected in the iridescent bodysuit and roomy boxing short. Materials like Flyweight Satin, Lame Tricot and Cotton Spandex provide a comfortable four-way stretch that will keep women supported while training. The affordable styles arrive in sizes from XS to XXL in a variety of hues for options. Items like the matching leggings set and spandex shorts are shown in the SS19 campaign. Yoga instructor Luisa Fonseca (@curvygirlmeetsyoga) poses in the sports bra and leggings set sharing more in the press release on her journey with her body:

“Being a chubby kid growing up, I was very depressed. And as I got older, I started believing more in myself. And just seeing the capabilities I have within myself, I was able to find that inspiration within me, and just know that I can do these things. I don’t need to look for someone else to be inspired. I have it in me.”

Shop the new FORWARD line now online.  Prices range from $28 to $38 USD.
