An adidas & 'Pokémon' Collaboration May Be Happening Soon

Too cute.

Never one to shy away from a nostalgia-inducing collaboration, rumors are swirling that adidas may be working on the ultimate ’90s collection with none other than Pokémon.

Sneaker News unveiled some leaked images of what appears to be adidas Originals’ Campus silhouette in all-white leather with co-branded text on the tongue. There are two styles shown; one with illustrated outlines of Pikachu across the upper in grey and another featuring the same design but with Squirtle. Each also features a full-color embroidered Pikachu or Squirtle on the lateral side, respectively. There’s no confirmation from adidas as to whether these sneakers are legit, however there is speculation that they may be part of a drop timed to coincide with the release of the upcoming animated film, Detective Pikachu, which hits theaters on May 10.

Get a look at the alleged Pokémon x adidas Originals sneakers above and let us know your thoughts in the comments below. In related news, did you hear that the Dragon Ball Z x adidas Originals collection was one of the most popular collabs of 2018?
