Unbound's New Innovative PALMA Vibrator Can Also Be Worn as a Ring
Destroying negative stigmas related to sex.
The sex tech industry is currently receiving a revamp thanks to women-led startups like the sexual wellness brands Unbound and Maude. Co-founders Polly Rodriguez (CEO) and Sarah Jayne Kinney launched Unbound with the mission of making millennial-friendly sex accessories, lubricants and toys mainstream. At the moment, the company has a portfolio of over 50 products created by a team of women based in New York City. According to Forbes, the company’s sales went from $20,000 USD to $4 million USD in 2017.
Today, Unbound officially launches its PALMA vibrator, a ring that doubles as a sex toy. The device offers five unique vibration settings and is completely waterproof. As a fashion-forward wearable, it also features two customizable modes that allow you to control the variation in vibration. Created with surgical stainless steel, the ring is available in silver and electroplated 14k gold. Additionally, the vibrator comes with a rotating band that allows the vibrating unit to lay vertically or horizontally across your fingers. If you’re worried about how you’ll charge it, it comes with a magnetic USB charging dock.
What’s most innovative about the piece is the fact that it is a conversation starter. Rather than diminishing one’s sexuality by hiding your vibrators in a box in your room, the PALMA’s design was created with the option to wear it in public — it’s up to you if you’d like to divulge what it actually is beyond a piece of jewelry.
Head over to Unbound’s web store to purchase the PALMA where pricing starts at $128 USD.
