Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2019 Sneakers and Bags Are Here
We want them all.
Earlier this month, Parisian fashion house Louis Vuitton debuted its first line of unisex fragrances. Now the brand has revealed Virgil Abloh‘s collection of sneakers and bags for the Pre-Fall 2019 range, and they’re a must-have. Having previously created iconic pieces like the highly sought after “Prism” Keepall bag and new iterations of LV’s signature silhouettes, Abloh’s new pieces are guaranteed to fly off the shelves.
This time around the desginer has created a pair of high-top creps taking inspiration from the previous basketball-inspired LV 408 sneaker, arriving in an all-white hue. Sitting atop a thick white midsole, the shoe sports orange accents as well as Louis Vuitton script branding in gold. The shoe also comes in a low-top iteration, ideal for day-to-day wear.
As for bags, Virgil Abloh has created a Chalk Sling Bag, Flat Vertical Tote and Flat Messenger, all sporting Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram pattern in white and brown versions. The designs have been elevated with travel-inspired “stickers,” which read “Vuitton,” “Liberty” and “Let Freedom Ring.”
The range is set to release in Japan on May 3, after it’s early launch at Louis Vuitton Shinjuku on April 26. The sneakers will retail at ¥128,000 JPY (approximately $1,150 USD), whereas the bags will retail at ¥225,000 JPY, ¥270,000 JPY and ¥225,000 JPY, (approximately $2,025 USD, $2,430 USD and $2,025 USD) respectively.
