Especially when it comes to those with dietary restrictions or preferences that can be overlooked in smaller towns. Luckily for all you vegans out there, London has options aplenty, ranging between dedicated plant-based cafés to impressive vegan-friendly offerings in your local coffee shop.

Farm Girl
Where: 59A Portobello Rd, W11 3DB and other locations
What: With several outposts across the city, Farm Girl serves up tasty and healthy options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The açai bowl and berry pancakes make for a great breakfast to help you gear up for a productive day ahead, whilst the coconut BLT sandwich and blue jack tacos with jackfruit, homemade BBQ sauce, guacamole egg free mayo & pineapple on soft blue corn tortillas will convert even the non-vegans out there. Top it off with a Remedy Kombucha and one of the gluten-free and vegan Mathilde’s Donuts.
Kalifornia Kitchen
Where: 19 Percy St, Bloomsbury, London W1T 1DY
What: Aside from its Instagrammable interior, Kalifornia Kitchen, has a stellar all-day menu that includes chia pots and pancakes alongside avocado & smoked carrot on sourdough and a fully-vegan breakfast burrito. If you’re looking for something more substantial, the Kalifornia guac burger is a must, and don’t leave without trying a slice of the matcha cheesecake.

What: NY-based by CHLOE. opened doors to its first London outpost in 2018 and its fast become a favorite with tourists and locals alike. The menu includes some of its original classics like quinoa tacos, pesto meatballs and mac n’ cheese alongside food with a British twist like fish n’ chips and sticky toffee pudding. Bonus tip – you do not want to miss out on the brunch menu on weekends until 4 p.m.
Palm Vaults
Where: 411 Mare St, London E8 1HY
What: It’s likely you’ve already come across Palm Vaults and its dreamy, Instagram-haven interior. Well, the food and drinks are just as photogenic and there are a ton of plant-based options available on the general menu. Stop by if you’re in the mood for a turmeric latte or healthy juice (we recommend the Pink Zing) or a selection of pastries to take into the office for your colleagues. Oh, and the vegan banana bread topped with coconut yogurt and berries is just as delicious as it sounds.
Pipoca
Where: 224 Brixton Rd, London SW9 6AH
What: This creperie is the perfect excuse to travel south of the river. Offering up an array of French-inspired sweet crepes and savory galettes – all vegan of course – Pipoca also happens to be the only vegan and zero-waste store in Brixton. Alongside crepes, there’s an extensive menu that includes a vegan full english complete with tofu scramble and Mediterranean-style mezze bowls. Pipoca also stocks a range of healthy, vegan products you can take home with you afterward.
