From Kendall Jenner to Margot Robbie, See the Best Celebrity Looks at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival
Elle Fanning, Bella Hadid and Winnie Harlow have also made our list.
Following the star-studded, camp-themed Met Gala that took place in New York earlier this month, the red carpet season goes on with all the festivities happening at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. With the 11-day event coming to a close, we’re looking back on some of the best celebrity looks that hit the French Riviera this year.
An annual festival that brings together cinephiles and some of the industry’s most revered filmmakers, Cannes 2019 was filled with memorable fashion moments that range from Selena Gomez‘s white bustier and skirt — spotted at the premiere of her new movie, The Dead Don’t Die – to Bella Hadid‘s Dior ruffled tulle gown as seen on the Rocketman red carpet.
As the youngest juror in Cannes history, Elle Fanning turned heads in the grandest of outfits throughout the past week or so. From a champagne-hued Gucci cape-dress, to a floral patterned Valentino haute couture creation, to a statement-making Dior hat, the 21-year-old surely made jury duty a fashionable affair.
Margot Robbie was another actress who dressed to kill at Cannes. To promote her latest film, the Quentin Tarantino-directed Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, she’s styled in a white, muslin dress from Chanel‘s Spring/Summer 2019 Couture collection, with strands of her hair perfectly braided by hairstylist Bryce Scarlett.
On Thursday, some of the biggest names in fashion and entertainment also arrived at the resort town for the amfAR Cannes Gala. Perhaps the best-dressed guest at the occasion, Kendall Jenner was tapped to debut one of the pieces from the newly-announced collaboration between Giambattista Valli and fast fashion retailer H&M. The It-model stood out from the party crowd in a bubblegum pink, mini tulle frock — and guess what? The dress is designed with a detachable train, too.
