Dior Announces New U.S. Exhibit Launching at Dallas Museum of Art

The retrospective showcases 70 years of the iconic fashion house.

Following up on the extension of its recent London archive exhibition, Dior announces its latest museum experience set to launch in the United States. Titled “Dior: From Paris to the World,” the retrospective exhibit will survey more than 70 years of the fashion house’s legacy and global influence. Opening at the Dallas Museum of Art, it will feature a selection of vintage couture by Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. Additionally, updated pieces from Maria Grazia Chiuri will also be seen for the first time.

In total, “Dior: From Paris to the World” will showcase a selection of almost 200 haute couture dresses, accessories, photographs, original sketches, runway videos and more. It will trace the history of the haute couture fashion house and will profile its founder, Christian Dior and the artistic directors who’ve succeeded his role. These designers include Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The “Dior: From Paris to the World” exhibition will launch on May 19. You can purchase tickets in advance at DMA.org. The Tuesday – Thursday weekday ticket price for adults is $20 USD and tickets for Friday – Sunday are $25 USD.
