Step Inside John Elliott's Brand New Flagship Store
The first location for the California brand.
John Elliott has opened the doors to its first-ever retail location in Hollywood. The California brand is returning to its roots setting up shops minutes away from where the designer originally premiered a range of zippered hoodies and reworked denim.
The flagship store takes up 3,500 square feet that includes an extended wall surface and clear front windows. Inside the design is inspired by Japanese aesthetics as seen with the Japanese-style lightboxes and the Japanese garden that lives in the back. The garden comes equipped with exclusively-sourced bamboo that adds a tranquil feel to the space. Raw textiles are embedded into the space’s glass benches mixing the textures of fashion and architecture. Elliott opens up about the store’s opening:
“For us, opening a store has been an introspective experience and awareness activity. We are intentionally prioritizing the connection to our first store space. Our business is still largely direct-to-consumer, and for us that has been only online thus far. We look forward to really being able to get to know our customers.”
