New Balance Teams up with Korean Label LIFUL for SS19 Footwear Collab

Featuring 6 styles of slides, sandals and mules.

New Balance‘s cult-status 990v5 model has undoubtedly been one of the most popular sneaker silhouettes this spring. Following up to the beloved release that is “worn by supermodels in London and dads in Ohio,” the sportswear brand now teams up with Korean imprint LIFUL for a Spring/Summer 2019 footwear collaboration. Included in the launch are six styles of slides, mules and sandals that are perfect for the warmer months ahead.

Staying true to its aesthetic, the all-new models highlight LIFUL’s hallmark minimalist aesthetic, which has been used to rework New Balance’s signature CRV series. The result is a selection of truly unique footwear designs that perfectly straddle the line between street fashion and dad vibes. Within the partnership, two colorway combinations are used: grey/yellow and black/blue. For both iterations, the vibrant accents provide an eye-catching pop of color to the sleek, neutral base tone. To round off the collection’s features, each product is detailed with nylon-blended fabrics.

The New Balance x LIFUL SS19 collaboration is available now at both LAYER and New Balance Korea‘s online and offline stores, as well as at select retailers such as MUSINSA.
