Rick Owens Is Launching a Futuristic Eyewear Collection
Meet the Shield silhouette and the Rick Frame.
Rick Owens returns to debut an eyewear collection featuring two newly designed frames. Last month, the fashion house dropped a footwear collaboration with Birkenstock. The new sunglass silhouettes are titled the Shield and the Rick Frame.
The Shield is a laser-etched model arriving with metal studs and a slender stainless-steel rim. Additionally, the temples are anchored directly to the lens shield and topped off by Japanese acetate. This option will be available in yellow, black, red and also a metallic silver colorway.
The Rick Frame features a signature wrap-around shape worn by Rick Owens and includes an optical option. This silhouette comes in white, black and grey.
