Shiseido Relaunches Skincare Line WASO, Packed With Superfoods
Arriving with cleansers, moisturizers and more.
Shiseido has officially relaunched its WASO line, a superfood-inspired skincare range. The cosmetics company also pulled from the holistic Japanese food tradition of Washoku for the WASO launch. The lineup is comprised of simple, minimal products including cleansers, masks, sunscreens, moisturizers, a hydrating cream and more.
According to an official press release, the products are formulated with botanicals and superfoods like carrots, loquats, honey, tofu yuzu and red basil. These ingredients assist with hydrating the skin and preventing the appearance of imperfections.
Standouts in the collection include the Clear Mega-Hydrating Moisturizer, the Quick Gentle Cleanser and the Purifying Peel Off Mask. The moisturizer provides intense hydration while minimizing the appearance of pores with the assistance of carrots and peony root extract, while the cleanser which is created with Japanese hachimitsu honey replenishes combination skin and removes impurities. The purifying mask features red shiso as a key ingredient and helps improve common skin issues such as dullness.
