Patta Unveils Air Jordan VII Collaboration With Matching Apparel

Find out when you can cop.

Jordan Brand has shared an official look at its Air Jordan VII collaboration with Patta. This serves as Jordan Brand’s first partnership with a European label. In addition to the footwear, the duo created a matching apparel line which includes a tracksuit, T-shirt, and hat each covered in graphics. Patta’s script logo is etched out on the sneaker’s midsole to match the pink, red and brown tones on its surface. Patta’s founders Guillaume Schmidt and Vincent van de Waal share the inspiration behind the designs:

“It was a golden era for hip-hop and a big year for me, a lot of very important albums that I still carry with me came out between ‘92 and ‘96. And aesthetically, those years had such colourful imagery and strong connections to black empowerment. The VII and its geometric patterns also have a reference to Africa.”
Punctuating the garment design is a “TEAM PATTA” logo which is seen on several of the items. Patta x Jordan Brand’s collection releases on May 18th at Patta’s Amsterdam and London locations, as well as on patta.nl. A general release is scheduled for June 15 via SNKRS, SNEAKRS and other select retailers. Scroll through the lookbook above and be sure to mark your calendar.
