032c and adidas Launch Utilitarian-Inspired GSG9.2 Boot

“A quintessential German product.”

032c and adidas Originals‘ military-inspired, tactical boot have officially launched. The design was first spotted back in November during the fashion label and magazine’s Fall/Winter 2019 “Cosmic Workshop” presentation.

The original GSG9.2 was created as a work shoe fit for 20th century Germany due to its functionality. The model was later worn heavily by ’90s ravers also because of their sturdy makeup. 032c’s updated design comes equipped with suede covering the upper and shaft. Up next, breathable mesh, is seen on the co-branded, padded tongue. Additionally the boots also come with a rubber outsole constructed in tonal grey which matches the single-shade upper. To round out the detailing are reflective 3M accents across the upper and the thick rope laces.

When speaking of the shoes, co-founder and editor-in-chief of 032c Joerg Koch shares: “It’s really a quintessential German product for me.” Co-founder Maria Koch details: “It’s not very sexy or funky, it’s super precise and to the point.”

You can purchase the collaborative GSG9.2 boot now via 032c’s web store, SSENSE and at Dover Street Market London or CIFF Paris.
