Kristen Stewart Leads First 'Charlie's Angels' Trailer, Noah Centineo Stars As a Hot Nerd
Meet the three Angels.
Kristen Stewart begins the first official trailer of the Charlie’s Angels reboot with the line, “I think women can do anything.” This is a recurring theme throughout, the clip as Stewart and her two co-stars Naomi Scott (Aladdin) and rising actress Ella Balinska reveal themselves as the three Angels. In case you have been living under a rock, these three are replacing Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu from the film that originally released in 2000.
Throughout the trailer, there are a few live-action moments involving Stewart and Scott. If you remember correctly, Barrymore’s role provided comic-relief amidst the fight, thieves and bad guys. Balinska conveniently fills this role and tells countless jokes in the clip. Additionally, instead of there being one Bosley like in the original films, there are a total of three including Elizabeth Banks (director), Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou. According to EW, Banks shared that a high priority was to make the movie about, “women working together and supporting each other.”
Unsurprisingly, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star, Noah Centineo makes an appearance in the trailer as a cute nerd. Another highlight to look forward to is the reveal of an upcoming theme song by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey.
Charlie’s Angels hits theaters on November 15. Take a look at the trailer in the gallery above.
