From sneakers and slides, to a Daniel Arsham collaboration.
Following its Spring/Summer 2020 Men’s show in Paris, Dior opened its showroom for a closer look at all the pieces from the runway, ranging from the RIMOWA collaboration to the Saddle Bag and new sneaker designs. The luxury brand’s menswear creative Kim Jones tapped artist Daniel Arsham for a collaboration of items ranging from sneakers to bags and jewelry.
Dior Men introduced new sneaker silhouettes in addition to the iconic B23 sneakers, taking inspiration from artist collaborator Arsham’s dye experimentation and Future Relic series, as seen on some of the running shoes and RIMOWA bags. The crumbling “DIOR” logo found on the small leather duffle and Yoon‘s jewelry pieces like the logo ring are also given the distressed treatment.
Meanwhile, the brand’s Oblique Logo appears on a wide range of pieces from shoes to bags, as well as a historic newspaper print which is the seasonal theme for this collection. The range’s clothing pieces were also on display, including a micro-pleated bomber and long-sleeved shirt with the newspaper print.
