Almost two years since Warner Bros. released its terrific movie adaptation of Stephen King‘s 1986 novel It, the film studio has now returned to tease the upcoming sequel, It: Chapter Two.
Set in nearly three decades after the events of 2017’s It, the follow-up movie reunites the members of Losers’ Club as the evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine after 27 long years. Now all grown up as adults, the group returns to its hometown and attempts to defeat the evil Pennywise/It, who disguises himself as a clown.
Directed by Andy Muschietti, It Chapter Two stars Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier and Andy Bean as Stanley Uris. Bill Skarsgård will reprise his role as Pennywise, while the original cast of children, including Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard, will appear in flashbacks in the horror film.
