Here's When the 'Stranger Things' x Nike "Upside Down" Pack Is Releasing
Dressing up the Tailwind ’79 and Cortez.
UPDATE: Following the surprise drop of the third Stranger Things x Nike collaboration on SSENSE last month, the sneaker is now receiving a wider release slated for next week.
The shoes are set to hit shelves at select retailers on Tuesday, August 13, and will retail at $110 USD. Each pair will come with a set of collector’s pins, and the trainers also feature the previously seen design elements that allows layers to be distressed to reveal additional detailing.

Following the release of Nike‘s previous two 80s-inspired collections celebrating the third season of Netflix show Stranger Things, the cult-favorite series has once again teamed up with the Swoosh to release two more collaborative sneaker silhouettes previously seen when BAIT launched the exclusive shoes.
The previous collections sported vibrant colors whereas this time around the two silhouettes, the Tailwind ‘79 and the Cortez, receive a minimal makeover. Getting a closer look at the previously teased collaboration, we see the two trainers take on a retro design. Sporting a textured “Sail” upper which fades into a dark denim layer, the sneaker sees white laces as well as Nike and Stranger Things co-branding at the tongue. In addition to the minimal design, the shoe also sports hidden detailing which we previously saw revealed here.
