adidas Originals' Latest Stan Smith Features a Pink, Color-Blocked Heel
Pretty in pastel.
adidas is dropping an unconventional Stan Smith Buckle silhouette next month and is on a roll with more iterations of the classic tennis sneaker. Arriving in “Cloud White/Glow Pink,” the minimalist shoe is a must-cop for the summer.
Staying true to the heritage of adidas Originals‘ Stan Smith shoes, the new sneaker’s upper is covered in clean “Cloud White” leather. Perforated Three Stripes branding is featured on the laterals as well as stitching details. The entire shoe sits on top of a white rubber midsole embossed with adidas Originals branding.
To add a pop of color, a peach-toned “Glow Pink” rectangular block is stamped on heel. As if the designer is coloring outside of the lines, the pink block overlaps the heel mustache and extends lower down the heel, giving the sneaker a cheeky characteristic. Stan Smith branding lands on the tongue in a matching peach-pink shade.
