Buckle up in adidas' Minimalist Stan Smith Sneakers

We’ve seen a slew of Stan Smith iterations from adidas Originals, including one with neon yellow details and another covered heel-to-toe in snakeskin print. Now, the Three Stripes brand has released a never-before-seen women’s exclusive adidas Stan Smith Buckle.
Replacing the usual lace-up vamp, the sneaker arrives with an unconventional dual-buckle closure similar to double monk strap shoes. The sleek buckles are pale gold and hold a thin sheet of “Running White” leather strapped across the entire shoe, giving the sneaker the same minimalist feel as previous renditions. A tongue with adidas Originals branding peers out from under the leather piece and the buckles are connected by “Raw White” elastic fabric that runs down to the midsole.
The sneaker laterals feature a few stitching details, making the premium white leather construction the true star of the shoe. A neutral grey-toned “Off White” heel completes the shoe, and in true Stan Smith fashion, the rubber sole and heel are stamped with adidas Originals logos.
