adidas Reveals a Snakeskin-Covered Pack Ft. Falcon, Stan Smith and More

Take your pick.

adidas Originals has officially revealed its latest collection featuring an assortment of snakeskin-covered footwear designs following up on the sleek Yung-1. Headlining the pack is the ’70s icon Stan Smith, the ’80s classic Continental 80, the futuristic Falcon and the vacation-ready adilette slides. Additional sneakers that have been added to the lineup include the LXCON 94 and the newly designed Supercourt.

Different from the previously mentioned Yung-1, the latest options arrive with a tonal grey colorway accentuated by embossed leather. The Stan Smith and the Continental 80 arrive with golden lace tips and printed sockliners. Also dropping is the Falcon women’s model arriving with a ’90s aesthetic alongside grey leather overlays, reflective elements and aggressive midsole tooling. The Adilette sandals feature a Texas flag-inspired laser-engraving by the heel. These designs are set to release as limited-edition models.

Up next are the LXCON 94 and Supercourt which both come with a similar reptilian textured design. These trainers differ from the Yung-1, with a smooth tan leather tongue featured on the Supercourt and glossy tan fabric tongue on the LXCON 94. Additionally, both of these sneakers rest atop an off-white sole unit paired with a subtle gum outsole.

The LXCON 94 is also marked by a set of leather Three Stripes, embroidered adidas EQT branding and a red panel highlighting its torsion system on the outsole. These two options come with insoles covered in the flag of Texas pointing to the pack’s desert inclinations. Lastly, the Supercourt arrives with an adidas-branded window on the lateral eyestay, a leather heel tab and a split sole unit.

The adidas Originals “Snakeskin” Stan Smith ($100 USD), Continental 80 ($100 USD), Falcon (TBD) and Adilette ($50 USD) will be available at select stockists on August 19. The LXCON 94 and Supercourt which price out at ¥18,360 JPY (approx. $170 USD) and ¥16,200 JPY (approx. $150 USD) can be purchased at official retailers like atmos Tokyo.
