Gucci's Latest Rhyton Leather Sneakers Are Made for Cat Ladies

Gucci’s Rhyton sneaker was recently stamped with a vintage strawberry print and another illustrated iteration has just surfaced. The leather Gucci shoe arrives with a familiar cat face that we’ve seen previously on jackets, sweaters, beanies and T-shirts.
Dubbed the Mystic Cat, the illustration features a black and white kitten with yellow eyes that is inspired by vintage postcards and reflects Alessandro Michele’s love of animals. The sneaker itself is a chunky, dad shoe silhouette crafted from smooth Italian leather and paired with a rubber sole. Other than the cat print, the shoe is entirely monochrome in white. It is also stamped with the Gucci logo on the tongue. The sneaker is equal parts minimalist and fun and is an adorable addition to your footwear closet if you’re looking for something that is easy-to-wear and has some character.
