Jump on the Western Trend With Converse's Cowboy Boot-Inspired Chuck Taylors
Yee-haw!
The western trend has been back in full swing for the past few months but if you’re reluctant to trade in your trusty sneakers for some cowboy boots, Converse has the solution. The heritage footwear brand has dropped its trusty Chuck Taylor All Stars in a decidedly Wild West-inspired finish, perfect for all enthusiasts of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.”
Keeping the classic construction and high-top silhouette the same, this “Space Cowgirl” iteration arrives in off-white “Egret” leather and boasts exposed top stitching outlining a pattern similar to that seen on retro cowboy boots and jackets. Adding more flair to the look are leather cutouts in fuchsia, “Habanero Red” and “Orange Rind.” If you’re a fan of the style but prefer darker hues for fall, the same design is available in black leather with white stitching, and panels of “Antique Blue” and metallic “Pure Silver.”
