Louis Vuitton Collaborates with League of Legends for the 2019 World Championship

Featuring a unique Trophy Travel Case for the game’s Summoner’s Cup.

With Riot GamesLeague of Legends World Championship fast approaching, the U.S.-based esports organization has just announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Louis Vuitton. The French luxury house is creating a unique Trophy Travel Case for the video game‘s Summoner’s Cup – a trophy awarded to the winner and is considered the most reputable prize in esports.

The trunk will feature Louis Vuitton’s traditional elements complemented with cutting-edge details inspired by the League of Legends universe. In addition to this collaboration, exclusive champion skins and a capsule collection designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of the women’s collection, is set to release along with other digital assets for the game.

This year’s World Championship will commence on October 2 in Berlin and will continue in Madrid starting October 26 for the quarterfinals and semi-finals. On November 10, the Summoner’s Cup will be awarded in Paris along with the reveal of the one-of-a-kind trophy case.
