Gucci Celebrates Chinese New Year With an Exclusive Mickey Mouse Capsule

In preparation for the upcoming Chinese New Year 2020, Gucci has just revealed its exclusive collection sporting Disney‘s iconic Mickey Mouse character. Celebrating the Year of the Rat – or Mouse, depending on the translation – Gucci’s delivery consists of a handful of apparel and accessories, mixing and matching Gucci’s logo with the famous rodent.
Apparel consists of a Gucci logo canvas coat layered with Mickeys, as well as a short-sleeved wool shirt and a lightweight cotton shirt grazed with Mickey and Minnie Mouse graphics across. Accessories consist of signature Gucci bags including bucket and crossbody styles in Mickey-overlaid monogram and a multicolor toile-inspired print. Combining the label’s luxury aesthetic with a retro-inspired influence, the range is ideal for those looking to add a statement piece to their rotation this year.
