Transform Into Ariel on Halloween With This Wig and Makeup Tutorial
Insert Name Here co-founder Jordynn Wynn walks us through the steps.
Although we won’t be able to celebrate Halloween this year the way we usually do, that doesn’t mean we can’t get into the festive spirit by dressing up at home. For those looking for makeup and hair inspiration, Insert Name Here co-founder Jordynn Wynn has recreated Ariel’s look from The Little Mermaid in an easy tutorial for HYPEBAE.
This spooky season, INH has released a collection of colorful wigs inspired by Disney princesses. The range features “Snow White,” a dark-colored bob, “Esmeralda,” long, black natural waves, “Ariel,” a red mermaid-y wig and “Merida,” vibrant and voluminous ringlets. Made with a Japanese fiber mix, the special wigs ensure a natural and realistic look.
In the tutorial below, Jordynn breaks down the process of transforming into Ariel with her wig and some of her go-to makeup products. The wig is now available at INH’s web store for $97 USD.
While you’re at it, here are some creepy-cute Halloween nail art designs to try.

1. Apply a layer of warm brown eyeshadow onto your eyelids. Make sure to buff thoroughly to achieve a natural, three-dimensional look.
2. To achieve a dreamy Disney princess feel, take a white eyeliner pencil to line your lower lashline.
3. Add volume to your lashes with mascara.
4. Choose a bold red color to apply on your lips.
5. Twist your hair in a low bun and take your wig cap, which comes with every INH wig purchase. If you have long hair, try French braids instead.
6. Wear the cap over your head with your hair tucked inside. Make sure to get baby hairs inside the cap as well.
7. Hold onto the back clip on the inside of the wig with one thumb. Use your other hand to hold the opposite end, and put your head down to flip the wig back up.
8. Adjust as needed to complete the look.
9. Change into an Ariel-inspired outfit to get into the full Halloween spirit.
