Cardi B and Nicki Minaj Could Have a Collab on the Way

Reportedly dubbed “Lavish.”

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are without a doubt the biggest female rappers on the scene right now, and they’ve continuously been pitted against one another and compared, resulting in its fair share of beef over the years. Now, it seems as if the two are reportedly putting their differences aside and joining forces for a new track reportedly dubbed “Lavish.”

In an essay for The New York Times, Megan Thee Stallion writes, “Countless times, people have tried to pit me against Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, two incredible entertainers and strong women. I’m not ‘the new’ anyone; we are all unique in our own ways.” After the success of Meg’s song with Cardi B, “WAP,” earlier this year, there’s proof that there can be more than one woman in hip hop. A potential collaboration between Cardi and Nicki could also end that notion for all, teaming up to give women in the industry a bigger platform and a louder voice.

As of now, the potential collaboration has yet to be confirmed, but Cardi B took to Twitter to say, “Since ya mad ..imma give ya something mad to be about …..This next single and coll- ….Gonna have ya sick ….since ya here.” It remains to be seen if the single is dropping soon, but watch this space as any more updates surface.
