The Music Festivals on Our Summer Hit List

From London to Reykjavík.

With Coachella behind us and summer creeping ever closer, there’s one thing on every music lover’s mind: festival season. From vibrating basslines and sunrise DJ sets to indie anthems and pop princesses, festivals remain one of the few places where every genre, aesthetic and energy collide.

As the landscape continues to evolve and with Glastonbury Festival taking a fallow year, a wave of smaller, community-led festivals are stepping into the spotlight, so figuring out where to spend your time off (and your money) can feel like a full-time job. Whether you’re chasing intimate sets from underground DJs or trying to catch artists like Addison Rae and Zara Larsson, across Europe, there’s no shortage of options this summer.

Part escapism, part hedonism and part cultural reset, festival season is less about standing in a muddy field and more about finding the moments you’ll talk about for the rest of the year. So, from beachside raves to countryside takeovers, scroll on for our roundup of the European festivals worth knowing about this season.
