As the landscape continues to evolve and with Glastonbury Festival taking a fallow year, a wave of smaller, community-led festivals are stepping into the spotlight, so figuring out where to spend your time off (and your money) can feel like a full-time job. Whether you’re chasing intimate sets from underground DJs or trying to catch artists like Addison Rae and Zara Larsson, across Europe, there’s no shortage of options.
Part escapism, part hedonism and part cultural reset, festival season is less about standing in a muddy field and more about finding the moments you’ll talk about for the rest of the year. Lost Village

What to know: Lost Village is not just about the music; it’s actually a massive hotspot for foodies, too. The festival hosts residencies from top chefs and restaurants, with innovation and creativity at the heart of each menu. Expect fire-fuelled cooking, long table feasts in the forest and world-renowned restaurants on the lineup. This year’s guests include London’s famous Black Axe Mangal, the Michelin-star Jöro and Masaki Sugisaki of Dinings SW3. Other London cult-faves include the Plimsoll (dubbed the best burgers in the capital) and Pophams, known for its Italian small plates. At Lost Village, you won’t be limited to a diet of fast food; you’ll be spoilt for choice in fuelling up for your late-night DJ sets.
