Learn How to Make Beet-Glazed Wings With Hot N Saucy's Sam Davis-Allonce
Spicy and crispy, these wings are the perfect game day treat.
As the weather cools down, chances are you’re spending more time cooking at home. If you’re looking to spice up your kitchen, chef Sam Davis-Allonce has you covered with her recipe for spicy, beet-glazed chicken wings. The Harlem-based connoisseur and owner of hot sauce brand Hot N Saucy walks HYPEBAE through the surprisingly simple dish.
The perfect game day treat, Davis-Allonce’s wings are seasoned with the chef’s must-have spices: powdered ginger, celery salt, onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder and beet salt (dehydrated beets mixed with salt). After tossing the wings with the mixture, Davis-Allonce adds in her special “chicken secret” — a blend of canola oil, cilantro and fresh garlic. The chef uses an air fryer to cook the wings and, as a final touch, tops with melted butter and Hot N Saucy’s very own Beet N Fresno sauce.
