What has been the biggest challenge navigating the industry? The biggest reward?
There has been no playbook in navigating the industry, so it has been just leading with optimism, positivity and being authentically myself. I hope to inspire and bridge any gaps that are blocking our advancement. The biggest reward has been engaging in vital conversations that will impact our present and future through thought provoking visuals.
What is your go-to makeup look?
I love adding glitter, sparkle and a pop of colour to my makeup looks.
How do you think Playboy has evolved since its inception?
Playboy has evolved in being more inclusive of gender expression and diversity; showcasing our beauty and our authenticity.
How can fragrance play a big role in self-discovery and expressing yourself?
Fragrance complements our feelings and personalities, which are constantly evolving and changing. I believe that the campaign for Playboy Fragrance embodies inhibition, seduction, rebellion, and exploration which drive self-expression.
What was it like being a part of the Playboy campaign?
It is truly an iconic and special experience that I am so honored to be a part of. It is inclusive, powerful and showcases and represents our beautiful diverse community. It is vital and of upmost importance for us to be seen, heard and embraced. It was an honor to be a part of a global campaign that is working to be a part of the larger movement. To collaborate with my dear friend Nadia was a dream and to be a part of her creative process is something I will cherish forever.
What does “Make the Cover” mean to you?
“Make the Cover” means being true to yourself. It is about the power of individuality and the spirit of originality. I want to push all boundaries and show others that they must stay true to themselves. Making the cover is standing strong, standing with conviction, standing with individuality and standing with yourself.
If you could only wear one look for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A slip on mini dress with thigh high boots, with an oversized biker jacket thrown on over.
Where do you find your inspiration?
New York City!
How did you get started in modelling?
Just like everything in life, it happened by accident and also because it was meant to be. I am a multi-hyphenate artist, model and photographer that uses different mediums to create and using my chameleon-like energy to express myself freely.
