Root Studios NYC Launches Freedom x Equal Justice Print Sale

100% of the proceeds will be donated to organizations fighting against racial injustice.

Root Studios, a premier photo production and rentals house based in New York City, launched its Freedom x Equal Justice print sale last week in support of the ongoing fight against racial and social injustice. According to the studio, 100 percent of the profits will be allocated to its partners: ACLU, National Black Justice Coalition, Native American Heritage Association and the Equal Justice Initiative.

In collaboration with a creative collective called NYC Image Makers, the initiative includes a collection of works from more than 50 emerging and established photographers in NYC, including Devin Blaskovich, Emma Craft, Alvin Kean Wong, Arnaldo Anaya-Lucca, Carly Foulkes, Collin Hughes, Emmanual Sanchez-Monsalve, Harshvardhan Shah, Justin Bridges, June Kim, Philip Montgomery, Sasha Arutyunova and more. Each print is priced at $100 USD each, which you can take a closer look at in the gallery above.

Head over to Root Studios’ website and donate to the cause. The Freedom x Equal Justice print sale will last until October 31.

*WWW.FREEDOMXEQUALJUSTICE.COM* 𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙏 𝙎𝘼𝙇𝙀 𝔼ℕ𝔻𝕊 𝕆ℕ 𝟙𝟘/𝟛𝟙 The Freedom x Equal Justice Print Sale is a collaborative fundraising initiative between Root Studios and NYC Image Makes in response to the ongoing fight against racial and social injustice. 100% of the profits will be donated to the following organizations: Equal Justice Initiative (@eji_org), National Black Justice Coalition, ACLU (@aclu_nationwide), and Native American Heritage Association. Our mission aims to explore truth, raise consciousness, and to promote the essential work that is being done with by these organizations. We will be donating all of our profits to organizations advancing civil rights, intersectionality, and criminal justice reform; challenging racial and social injustice; and protecting basic human rights. We are forever grateful for the generous contribution from our roster of 50+ artists (featured above), who have donated their art and time to this charitable initiative. Lastly, we want to thank our core team who made this all happen. This is not a moment, it’s a movement. Visit the link in our profile to shop, donate, and explore. Sale ends on 10/31.
