Andrea Vallé Unveils Mesmerizing "Lovergirl" Music Video

Watch the R&B songstress play dress up as a burlesque dancer.

Rising alternative R&B star Andrea Vallé has released a sultry new music video for “Lovergirl,” the title track off her most recent EP. Blending an R&B sensibility with touches of house, jazz and neo-soul, “Lovergirl” recounts the highs and lows of loneliness-induced desire: “Somebody’s gonna fall in love tonight/It’s in the air, don’t fight it/I know you need somebody,” Vallé sings.

Performing against softly-lit backdrops, Vallé dons burlesque costumes including a flapper-style slip dress dripping in chains and a campy, heart-shaped bodice. Accompanied by neon graphics reminiscent of the ’80s, the singer watches herself perform on the screen of a vintage television, adding a nostalgic touch to the Annie Bercy-directed visual. Styled by Marita Owens, Vallé’s diamond jewelry glimmers throughout the mesmerizing clip.
