Meet SUFE Fund, an Organization Dedicated to Aiding Students in Need of Financial Assistance

Designer DJ4Animals’ collection launches this week at Dover Street Market NY.

Founded by designer John-John Johnson Joonya, also known as DJ4Animals, State University Of Free Education (SUFE) Fund is a brand dedicated to advocating for student debt relief and education reform. In reference to the designer’s personal experience with student debt during his time at New York University, DJ4Animals’ latest capsule features 10 limited-edition Promissory Note Hoodies, a one-of-one Dover Street Market special Promissory Note Couture Hoodie and a selection of printed tees, which are set to launch via DSM New York this week.

Known for his signature “FREE EDUCATION” motif, garments in the range were designed to raise awareness on rising tuition fees and the socio-economic standards of a university degree. Through SUFE Fund’s initiative, the designer aims to offer students “financial mentorship as well as resources, grounded in the philosophy that higher education should be accessible and affordable to everyone,” as stated in a press release.

SUFE Fund’s collection ranges from $70 to $625 USD and will be available to shop on November 17 at DSM NY’s website and physical stores.
