
Nickelodeon's 'iCarly' Is Getting a Reboot
With Miranda Cosgrove returning to reprise her role as Carly.
Following conversations surrounding a potential Zoey 101 reboot, Nickelodeon has confirmed that the next show to get the treatment is iCarly, with many of the show’s original cast members returning.
First premiered in 2007, the show will now be taken on by the Paramount Plus streaming service, with Miranda Cosgrove reprising her role as Carly, Nathan Kress returning as Freddie and Jerry Trainer as Spencer. Although there is yet no official release date tied to the show, fans are already expressing their excitement on Twitter.
In terms of the storyline, it is unclear what it will focus on, but Cosgrove suggested that the story could focus on her adventures with her brother, as well as explore the story of their parents, in a 2016 interview. Stay tuned as any more information surrounding the iCarly reboot surfaces.
