Jil Sander Launches an Elevated and Modern SS20 Capsule Exclusively with MATCHESFASHION
Including the latest “7 Evening” shirt collection, which features unique cufflink details.
MATCHESFASHION has just unveiled its latest collaboration with Jil Sander featuring an exclusive Spring/Summer 2020 collection for men and women. The range offers a selection of apparel and footwear arriving in a minimal color palette and sleek silhouettes.
The women’s range includes a double-face cashmere cape coat with neck tie detailing and a silk satin belted coat. The tuxedo suit and shirt arrive in a single-breasted jacket featuring satin trimmings, along with two styles of tuxedo trousers. Additionally, two handbags and two shoe styles have been included in the line.
“We already created the ‘7-Day shirt’ collection in white cotton and we really wanted to extend this idea of a uniform for the day to the evening as we have become really interested in eveningwear,” said co-founders Lucie and Luke Meier in a press release. As part of the latest “7 Evening” shirt collection, the men’s and women’s garments feature a variety of unique cufflink details for each day of the week. Finally, the men’s collection includes a deconstructed cashmere overcoat, a single-breasted tuxedo jacket, straight-leg tuxedo trousers and sophisticated loafers.
