A Backstage Look at Rodarte's FW20 Show Beauty Prep at New York Fashion Week
Dark berry lips and shortened floral veils dominated the runway.
Rodarte‘s last New York Fashion Week show for Spring/Summer 2019 left a dramatic impression on the audience. Two years later, designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy debut their Fall/Winter 2020 collection at St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City where floral, feminine prints and pleated dresses with pouffed shoulders conquered the runway.
Backstage at Rodarte’s FW20 show, we got to take a closer look at all the models’ hair, makeup and nails. Complementing the collection’s color palette, statement dark lips were incorporated into the models’ overall looks thanks to NARS, as well as red-brown stick on lacquer nails courtesy of Morgan Taylor. Shortened veils featuring floral arrangements atop were seen on a couple of looks paired with soft wavy locks styled by ghd curling irons.
