UPDATE: 'Stranger Things' Builds Anticipation With Behind-the-Scenes Clip of Season 4 Table Read

Watch the cast reunite.

UPDATE (March 4, 2020): Though Stranger Things Season 4 doesn’t release until 2021, the hit show is wasting no time by revealing major plot points (Hopper is alive, according to the fourth season’s official trailer) and teasing fans with a behind-the-scenes peek at a table read for the new script.

A recently posted YouTube video documents the series’ cast members reunite for a table read. A shot of David Harbour confirms Hopper’s return, while clips of Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) shows how quickly the child stars have grown up. Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) also makes an appearance with her new dog, Winnie.

Check out the Stranger Things Season 4 table read above, and the show’s official Season 4 trailer below.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 14, 2020): Following Netflix‘s confirmation of Sex Education Season 3, the streaming platform has teased the return of Stranger Things Season 4 with a video revealing a major plot point — Hopper is alive.

Titled “From Russia with love,” the 50-second clip pans over a snowy landscape where a group of workers seem to be building a railroad. A shot of the tracks ends with a close-up of one laborer in particular. Upon removing his hat, the mystery man is revealed to be Hopper, a twist that will satisfy fans wondering if the Duffer brothers really killed off the beloved character in season three.

Netflix hasn’t announced the official release date for the fourth season of Stranger Things, so stay tuned as more details emerge.
