Coco Capitán Designs Limited-Edition Moccasin For Camper
Inspired by her soccer team, the Whippets.
Spanish artist Coco Capitán, known for her text-based works, has teamed up with shoe brand Camper on a limited-edition moccasin for Spring/Summer 2020. The shoe’s black and green colorway takes inspiration from the Whippets, a London-based women’s soccer (football) team Capitán is member of.
The moccasin is a non-sport style meant to be worn off the field by athletes who don’t want to walk around in soccer shoes post-game. Made of black leather, the shoe boasts a slightly elevated rubber heel and tonal stitching. A velcro strap embossed with “WHIPPETS” written in Capitán’s signature childlike script complements an additional neon green lacing system.
The Coco Capitán x Camper moccasin retails for $299 USD and is available now on Camper’s website.
