MISBHV Donates 5000 Face Masks to Local Hospitals
In addition to contributions to the World Health Organization.
Responding to mounting evidence that makeshift face masks are more effective at preventing the spread of coronavirus than no protection of all, streetwear brand MISBHV has donated 5000 single-use masks to local hospitals in Poland. The brand also sold a limited number of these masks to customers and donated all proceeds to the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
Last week, MISBHV halted all production operations to focus its efforts on making the donated and stocked masks. “If there is one lesson that is awaiting us on the other side of this crazy pandemic it is that — whether politicians at power like it or not — we need to learn to work together,” MISBHV captioned in an Instagram post announcing the brand’s charitable efforts.
